We have 2 areas for eating together, one at the kitchen island table, which we usually use for breakfast on weekends. Then the dining table area where we always have dinner together. I style my kitchen only with cooking utensils, everything that is visible on the kitchen shelf, or on the kitchen table is equipment that is used daily. For me, it is decorative enough to display all my daily cooking utensils, so I don't need to display something that is rarely used.
