Yesterday, when I posted a photo of Ottogi Bungeoppang snacks, a friend named Bonobonob left a comment asking for a recommendation: If I had to choose just one, which would I choose between Bibigo and Ottogi Bungeoppang? Haha. I remember enjoying the Bibigo Bungeoppang, but when I was asked that question, I suddenly couldn't remember;; I was wondering if it was better than this? Or not? 😅 Since I happened to have a bag of Bibigo Red Bean Bungeoppang left at home, I immediately warmed up all the different types in the fridge and prepared some. 🥰 (For someone who's serious about recommendations) I even summoned my mom to form a Bungeoppang group(?) lol ----- < Bibigo Red Bean Bungeoppang > Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside. Rich in red bean paste filled with condensed milk. Adorable and adorable. 300g, 11 pieces per bag. <Ottogi Red Bean Bungeoppang> Crispy on the outside, chewy on the inside. Filled with a delicate, soft filling. More than twice the size of Bibigo. 480g, 8 pieces per bag. (Ziplock bag package) ----- All things considered, my mom and I chose... It was a 20-0 decision for Ottogi! Haha I didn't notice it when I was eating them, but after comparing the two, I noticed that the Bibigo Bungeoppang's filling tasted a lot sweeter to me, and my mom said the same thing. Perhaps it's because the filling is so full, despite the small size and thin dough. It also contains condensed milk. On the other hand, it seems to be the perfect size for kids. When baked in the oven, the Ottogi Bungeoppang had a crispy outside and chewy inside. It wasn't filled with whole red beans, but the filling was just right, with a delicate sweetness. It's a little smaller than the Bungeoppang you find on the street.
