Challenge to make my own small BAR First, this is the living room veranda that everyone has in their apartments these days. Since we use a dryer in our house, this space was dead, so I decided to make my own small hideout. First, I laid down a flame-retardant carpet. I think the color of the floor is the basis for all atmospheres. It's basic work! I laid down the carpet in a calm camel brown color that goes well with any furniture or pattern. Since it's a really small space, I prepared a small, foldable round table. However, there were scratches on the table top... I thought about it for a moment and decided to just lay down a tablecloth. The funny thing is that it's not even a tablecloth, it's just a very small curtain. Since it's a veranda space, a display case was a luxury. So I decided to put in a corner shelf. I arranged two: an acrylic corner shelf and a bamboo corner shelf purchased from Ikea. I organized the whiskeys and miniatures that were on one side of the kitchen in the acrylic display shelf, and the pretty glasses that I had collected one by one just waiting for this day. I put a small wooden display shelf and a kettle set (so pretty..) from Modern House as a focal point on the bamboo display shelf. I sometimes drink white wine, so I was going to stack two wine racks purchased from Ikea between the corner shelves, but I only stacked one for now. Anyway, the wine rack is empty..ㅋ In between, I put various arrangements in black glass flower bottles from Ikea. I don't really like bare walls. I roughly put vintage postcards on the wall, and it looks cute~ I put a folding iron chair made of brown corduroy. I had a lot of trouble deciding between wooden chairs, but I thought it would be nice if it was simple but pretty, right? Before making a difficult choice..ㅋ After much thought and consideration, I chose a very pretty chair and had it delivered. My cat really likes it~ I'm satisfied. There's a hanger-like system on the ceiling of the veranda for hanging clothes? I put a black iron hanging flower pot with a flower I bought from IKEA there to give it some point. I'm actually a food butler, but if I put plants all the way to the veranda, there would be too much to do, so I gave up my greed and decorated everything with flower pots to give it some point. I bought rattan lights that were on sale at IKEA and put them there~ I also casually hung an olive-colored blanket on the chair. This is how my secret space was completed, and the cost, including the floor, furniture, lights, props, etc., was about 500,000 won~ Clap clap clap! It's an ambiguous amount. It seems like a lot but also a little. As a former butler and housekeeper who majored in interior design and architecture, and now a woman with ordinary children and an ordinary job, it was a very enjoyable break for the first time in a long time. First of all, I'm so happy to have my own space at home.
