Originally my house had a checkered ceramic floor with black grout, but that kind of floor model didn't match the personality of the house. Finally we decided to use a light wood motif SPC floor because the house tends to have a lot of stuff and furniture with a lot of dark wood motifs so that it can make the room a little brighter. The walls are still white to be the canvas for the decoration items and to contrast with the floor.
