🌿Light items for beginner gardeners Hello! This is summer home🌊 Even after moving from a well-lit officetel in the countryside to a small studio in Seoul, I'm still with the greens! I'm still a clumsy beginner gardener, but I'd like to introduce you to the wonderful items that helped me fill the role of a plant caretaker at Plant Killer. 1️⃣ Slit pot A pot that allows the roots to breathe and feel emotions🪴 However, as the plants grew, the pot size also got bigger, and it became so heavy that I would shiver every time I watered it🤒 In addition, it became damp when it held water, so it was difficult to manage in a small studio. The light plastic pot easily caused overwatering of the roots, which made the plants' condition worse. Then I found the slit pot👀 It helps the roots grow smoothly, doesn't cause overwatering, and is light! The simple design was a bit disappointing, but as time goes by, I think that cleanliness is the best. When I see pretty flower pots, I want to buy them😈 If I feel disappointed, I plan to use a flower pot cover🎀 2️⃣ Soil moisture meter ⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is one of the must-have items! Don't you have plants that have turned green even though you watered them once a week or once every two weeks as the gardener told you to? However, the watering cycle varies depending on the season, home environment, and plant condition! If you have more than one or two plants, it's bound to get confusing about watering them👀 With this moisture meter, you don't have to worry about when to water them! If you put it in the flower pot, it will be marked right away with a scale. 3️⃣ Changbit Farm Well-Growing Soil Keeper⭐️⭐️⭐️ Are there any flies flying around the flower pot? 🦟 You should definitely buy it😎 I found out about Changbit Farm Well-Growing when I first used potting soil🌲 It really lives up to its name because the plants grow well! I suffered from root flies for over 2 years because of one plant that I had grown.😭 Even if I installed a sticky tape and repotted it, and even if I used my secret weapon, the pesticide Big Card, they could never completely disappear😡 But after using this, they completely disappeared🥹(impressed) It's a product that you can just dilute in water when watering the plants🪴 If you're suffering from root flies, I highly recommend it! 4️⃣ Changbit Farm Well-growing Plant Keeper This is also a Changbit Farm product! This is a product that dilutes the pink liquid in water and sprays it directly on the plant🧚🏻‍♂️ They say it's effective against pests on leaves! I don't have any other bugs besides root flies, so I don't know how effective it is, but when I spray it once in a while, it makes the greens look plump and I spray it often🕊️ 5️⃣ Staple sticks and Velcro ties for fixing plants If you're growing greens in the philodendron family, a staple stick is a must-have item! I've bought quite a few staple sticks, too👀 When buying staple sticks, I recommend choosing a product with a plastic part that sticks into the soil. Wooden ones can rot or mold in moist soil🧚🏻‍♂️ And when tying plant stems to staple sticks, I used to buy gardening wire or knotting strings from Daiso! When I was fixing the plant or the plant grew, the stem got damaged😭 After searching hard, I found a Velcro tie that firmly fixes the plant without damaging it😎 I was even more satisfied with the product after using it myself!
