The open area in my house starts from the living room, dining room and kitchen in an L shape and is not just a line. The first slide was taken from the corner of the living room, so that only the dining room and part of the kitchen are visible. The open space area makes the room look more spacious and not cramped. The lighting in the dining room and kitchen is very sufficient even without turning on the lights, because these two areas are directly connected to the side garden which can be directly accessed from the dining room. With fairly large doors and windows, during the day the lighting is very good, as seen in the 3rd slide.
