🕯️🕯️🕯️ I've said before that I've loved scented candles for a long time, and it all started with Yankee Candle :) I had a Yankee Candle obsession for a few years 😅 The second photo is of the Yankee Candle cabinet in my room in 2012. I had about two other cabinets like that at home. At that time, I think I had over 100 Yankee Candles in my house. I bought them all directly from the US, during regular sales or Black Friday sales on the Yankee website. Not only basic jar candles, but Tart and Votive often had $1 sales, and accessories were also 80-90% off, so they were much cheaper than buying them here. Back then, I had a lot of scents that weren't available in Korea. I remember my friends coming to my house to try out scents instead of going to Yankee stores, and then choosing which candles to buy directly. I'm a bit of a fanatic, so once I like something, I delve deep into it for a long time, and my collecting instincts kick in. I bought and tried quite a few candles, not just Yankee Candles, but also scents that I was curious about. Then, I wanted to try making them myself, so I learned how to do it, and I even got a candle craft certification. Later, I even took candle classes. I think I've stopped buying candles since then, because I can make almost anything I want. Most of the ones I have at home now are still there, from when I bought them a while ago. 😊 I used to always have scented candles burning throughout the house, but since adopting cats who are sensitive to scents, I only light them occasionally in the bathroom.
