I have a cat at home, so I can't use a diffuser... I have a cat diffuser that is not harmful to cats, so I used it a few times and wondered if it was really okay... so I decided not to use scented ones at all. There is no exhaust fan in my kitchen ㅠㅠ There is a window, but the smell really doesn't go away after cooking. I wanted to get rid of the smell that lingers in my house, so I found out about a bath deodorizer while digging up information at a cat cafe. I bought the plain (unscented) one. It says that it neutralizes the smell itself rather than covering it up with another scent. You just have to open the lid and leave it in the smelly area, and when you're not using it, you can close the lid, and since it's a solid, there's no way for the cat to spill it. When I tried it, the smell didn't go away right away, but it seemed to deodorize a little after a few hours to a day.
