Enjoying the last strawberries I would have liked fluffy bread, but I had some hoagie bread in the freezer, so I soaked it in egg water the day before. It wasn't moist all the way through, so it was dry on the outside, but it was still delicious. I drizzled it with maple syrup and it was delicious.
