My quality of life has improved since I switched from a 3-burner gas cooktop to an induction cooktop. Since both of us work, we only cook at home on weekends, and even then, we only cook simple dishes, so we don't pay much attention to kitchen maintenance. I don't cook anything fancy, but every time I use it, food splatters and it's really, really inconvenient and annoying to clean it, so I've definitely gotten rid of the gas stove, and the burden of cooking has definitely decreased!
