[1st floor house mood aesthetics] ‘Soft oriental beauty + antique mood, uncommon 1st floor interior’ This space is a living room filled with “my own quiet sensibility.” Since it is the 1st floor, it could have been stuffy and monotonous, but I brought out its characteristics with a sensitive oriental mood. I was worried about the lighting until the end with flos, but I chose the Catellani Smith product that matches the oriental mood. I am really satisfied because I can create different atmospheres during the day and night with smart lighting. I wonder if I could see the light changing the space with my own eyes. I also wanted an uncommon composition, so I had the dining table and chairs custom-made. I chose a marble dining table made of travertine with a flowing curve, and a cozy chair to match it, and selected the chair frame and cushions one by one. I really felt like it was designed for my space. Since it is the first floor, privacy is important, so I made honeycomb blinds and linen curtains separately at Dongdaemun, and I think the soft and luxurious beige color is what set the mood of this house. Lastly, the pretty flower-patterned ceramics I brought from my grandmother's house added to the mood. A living room that is not common but comfortable and warm, where modern elements and antique sensibilities coexist.
