Yellow flower pot and yellow tulips I bought yellow tulips in a yellow flower pot. Tulips don't last long even if they're planted in a flower pot. They withered in a week. But you don't have to be sad because tulips are bulb plants. The roots in the soil have grown large and store nutrients, which is called a bulb. Dig them out, shake off the soil, cut off the roots and stems around them, dry them thoroughly for about a week, and store them well. Then, if you plant them next year, the tulips will grow again!
