🐇 A 10-pyeong wonderland, only one room but four feelings!? “Why did the clock rabbit get lost? There are too many paths in one room in this house!” I’m creating my own small wonderland in a 10-pyeong one-room officetel. I’ve really realized these days that the smaller the space, the more the feeling, atmosphere, and function can change completely depending on how you divide it. That’s why I divide one room into four different atmospheres: bedroom / dining zone / reading zone / kitchen, based on the IKEA Kallax storage unit. I’ll introduce my own ‘narrow but deep’ wonderland to those who want to create as many different feelings as possible in a small space! I’ll show you the ‘charm of a small house’ that can contain four different atmospheres at the same time—a bedroom, dining zone, reading zone, and kitchen—in one room! 📚 Reading zone + kitchen: Creating a quiet and cozy corner even in a small space I’m using the space beyond the Kallax storage unit as a small reading zone and kitchen. In the past, the reading zone was right next to the window, so it was hard to concentrate because of the noise of people and cars outside, but now I’ve moved the space and have a quiet corner where I can read a book. I especially like this place because it feels like my own hideout. The happiest moment these days is when I turn on a dim light, spread a warm blanket, and lean against the sofa to read a book. ✔ I neatly organized the outlets by hiding the multi-tap under the sofa, ✔ I paid attention to the wiring to create a “place where everything you need is there, even though it’s not visible.” This is TMI, but… Only those who have tried reading a book with your feet up on the Kallax will know 😌 (It’s really comfortable) 🍳 Our kitchen: An ordinary officetel, but an 11-character kitchen that I made myself Actually, I’ve been wanting to introduce the kitchen, but I never got around to it. The only reason is that the sterilizer that came as a basic option was so yellow that the pictures didn’t come out pretty… 😭 But I really like this kitchen structure itself! Usually, officetels have a kitchen counter attached to a narrow space like a hallway next to the entrance, and it’s hard to expand. But here, the refrigerator is on the opposite side, so I made an island with tiles myself next to it, and it’s a kitchen with an ‘11-shaped structure.’ This tile island was completely handmade, ✔ It creates a cooking space, ✔ It can be used for storage, ✔ It also has an interior effect, So it’s really become a key item for space utilization. 📌 But I’m still worried about the yellow sterilizer issue. Would it be better to cover it with fabric like a curtain? Or is there anyone who can recommend an item that can hide it perfectly? 🤍 I’m definitely going to introduce this kitchen separately soon.
