We've always wanted to have a house as big as a football field 😂 Because, we have a big family. So we need a big room hehe. I deliberately combined the family room and dining room, so that when there is a family event, the kids and husband/father can play PS/watch Netflix together and the mothers/daughters can snack while chatting beside the dining table (if you want to get food/snacks close by) 🤪 I separated the kitchen and dining room area with a sliding door, so that when I want to cook, the aroma doesn't enter the dining/family room, especially if I cook spicy food, it will definitely bother the kids (they often make them cough) hehehe.
