💙 Happiness that plants bring 💙 I haven't bought fresh flowers since some time ago. They are so pretty when small buds bloom into full-blown flowers, but fresh flowers will eventually wither, and I hate seeing them wither away when they were once vivid. I feel even worse about throwing withered flowers in the trash can. That's why I only buy fresh flowers when I receive them as gifts from someone. A while ago, my sister, whom I hadn't heard from in twenty years, came to my house with a lovely bouquet of fresh flowers. And around that time, my first child brought a potted hyacinth, and my second child brought a potted Superba. Maybe because it was around Arbor Day, they were given to me by the school and daycare, respectively. Growing plants is also about nurturing life, so I felt bad if I couldn't grow them healthily, so I tried to bring in only as many plants as I could take responsibility for, but somehow this is how it ended up like this. So these days, I look at the plants that came to my house every day and cherish them, and I change the water in the vases for the flowers. The flowers in the vases that have already lost their roots are withering little by little, but I am thankful that they remind me of the faces I missed when I met them after a long time, and I am thankful that the plants in the pots that my pretty babies brought remind me of my children.
