My husband's home cafe zone My dream was to have a dining room where I can do dishes in the kitchen while looking at the beautiful framed view outside the window and a space where I can sit around and talk and eat with my family, separate from the kitchen. The kitchen made both of these things happen in an old house without remodeling. The dining room chairs were changed for the third time in a year, and now I have two solid wood tables. As a bonus, my husband's home cafe space was created, so it's not a fancy, luxurious kitchen, but I upgraded it little by little, such as installing shelves on the wall with yellow tiles and self-painting.
