When I was a student, I lived near the Hwan-gi Art Museum in Buam-dong. So whenever I had a hard time or something upsetting, I would look for Kim Hwan-ki's paintings as a breathing space. When I looked up at the countless blues and stars in the paintings, I felt sad and tearful, but strangely my heart was healed. So if I were to choose the first art piece for my house, I thought I had to bring in a work by Kim Hwan-ki. That's how I brought my <Studio on a Moonlit Night>.
