If it is too soft, it puts a strain on my back, but the Aston seat cushion is just the right amount of firmness and softness, so my back didn't hurt at all. In addition, the ergonomically designed backrest angle makes it comfortable to sit on for a long time. My husband also said he is so happy that he got the sofa, and he is always sitting on the sofa these days. So happy.
