This is the open space concept in my house, from the sofa it directly connects to the dining area & kitchen for cooking. Advantages: when cooking, it feels closer to the children. The house also looks more spacious Disadvantages: if there is a mess, it looks like everything is messy. So the homework is to keep it neat, when cooking it can smell everything.
