However, considering the size of this house's kitchen, I ended up satisfied with a practical ㄷ-shaped kitchen. When my kids were young, the most important thing was the structure where I could wash dishes while watching them play in the living room. I wanted a clean kitchen without upper cabinets, and instead, considering the reduced storage space, I installed an island. I filled it with ample storage space to make it practical. These days, the space above the island is my own small space of taste. I put my favorite coffee machine, drip set, and latte art tools there, and I stand in front of it once a day to make coffee and enjoy some time for myself. My kids like that too.
