Usually kitchen appliances have "cold" colors like black or steel, so that the kitchen & dining area can still feel warm and cozy, I use wood accent materials and warm white colors. Because this kitchen is a high traffic area, high humidity too, of course it will be difficult and expensive to maintain if using real wood materials, so I use materials that are lower maintenance but look like wood.
