As the Skindapsus I received from Ogarden grew rapidly, the roots started to stick out of the pot👀 So, I, a complete beginner gardener, challenged myself to repot for the first time in my life! Since it was my first time repotting, I didn't know where to start, so my close friends kindly gave me a lot of great tips on how to repot🫶🏻 I'm uploading this because I think it might be helpful for those who are repotting for the first time like me⋆◡̎⋆ 📌Required Materials - Flowerpot (about twice the size of the original flowerpot) - Soil, sand, potting soil, trowel 🪴Repotting Method 1) Put in a soil cut to fit the size of the flowerpot 2) Put sand about 1/3 of the flowerpot to create a drainage layer - If you mix in perlite, it will drain better! 3) Add potting soil to adjust the height of the plant 4) Carefully separate the plant and place it in the pot - Gently press the side of the pot to separate it easily! - If you don't water until the soil dries before repotting, it will be easier to separate it 5) Fill the empty space with soil - Don't press too hard, but fill it tightly - For plants that are weak to overwatering, you can mix in some sand! 6) Sprinkle Masato on top to finish - If you have any nutrients, sprinkle them as well 7) Water enough so that water comes out of the water hole Looking at the last picture, it looks like the existing Ogarden flowerpot was too stuffy for the Skindapsusㅎㅎ
