The rain has stopped and the weather is cool.. I'm taking out all the large carpets that I've been laying around the house and putting them in the washing machine for the first time in a while. I've only been doing light maintenance so far, but it's time to wash them properly... I was able to wash the small mats frequently, but I have to move the furniture on top of the large carpets, so I'm getting ready to do a thorough cleaning. Haha And while the washing machine is running, the floor that's been exposed for the first time in a while somehow makes the house look spacious. Of course, it feels empty to me, so I'll put the carpets back in right after they dry.
