Living in a village is a dream for many people for their retirement. But for this young couple, that dream came true earlier. We were trusted to design their first house in a village at the foot of a hill, on the outskirts of Bandung City. The land for this house is on sloping land, with a height difference of about 5 meters from the edge of the road to the back boundary. From this location, there is a view of the hills to the north and south, as well as the garden to the east. The main concept of this house is simplicity that is in harmony with the surrounding environment, but still has its own charm. The land is divided into three zones: the upper part as a parking area, the middle zone for the main building, and the lower part is designed for future development—currently used as a garden and water catchment area. #ruralhouse #simplicty #Rumah
