I built this kitchen slowly—not just to cook, but to take a break from the hustle and bustle. I chose exposed brick and metal shelves, not because they were trendy, but because I like honest spaces—that show what’s there. There are no closed cabinets, just old wood and black metal that live in peace in the middle of the room. In the morning, sunlight comes in from the side, falling on a dining table that’s covered in scratches, glass marks, and the occasional coffee spill. But that’s where the kitchen feels alive.
