The master bedroom can be considered one of my husband and I’s “battlefields”—not because we fought, but because we both had dreams for this room. I wanted a proper wardrobe area, while my husband wanted a work area and a relaxing place to lie down on the carpet. And because of the limited space, we finally decided to make a mezzanine concept. We put the bed on top, while the work area and wardrobe are below. Why is the bed on top? My husband said, so that I won’t be lazy. Every day there is “exercise” climbing stairs, so that my leg muscles stay active until old age. Oh, there are always new things, but the reasons are also sweet 😄 We chose a mezzanine made of concrete, not iron, because it turned out to be more affordable. And the most important thing for my husband—there are no supporting pillars below. He said, so that it looks neat and clean. At first I thought that casting was complicated, but it turned out to be more economical and sturdy. Stairs to go upstairs? Now this is the economical part—we used the old stairs that used to be the access to the maid's room and service area. I only modified it a little to fit the new concept. It's pretty good, you can save money without having to sacrifice function. From this room I learned one important thing: Dreams can be realized, as long as we are willing to find a compromise together. It doesn't always have to be luxurious or expensive (according to budget), the important thing is that it fits your needs and can make us feel at home. #cat #warnacatrumah #catrumahminimalis #BedroomStyling #InspirasiKamar #KamarTidurNyaman
