Over the weekend, our veranda was transformed into a kids’ cafe. With the cute kitchen play set and magnetic cradle placed, the child was so excited that he ran around as if he was in a real playground. A world of imagination unfolded on the colorful rug, and toy food was abundant on the small table! Clay play was in full swing in the living room, and the child’s concentration exploded as he sculpted the soft clay with his fingertips—I didn’t realize how much time had passed. What I liked the most was the small book cafe space created under the wall lights. With three cute cushions placed on it, it was the perfect healing zone to rest after playing. Thanks to the natural light coming in through the soft curtains, the calm white and wood interior, and the items that filled the space, our house became the best playground where ‘a mother’s emotions’ and ‘a child’s curiosity’ coexist. Housekeeping and interior design are all about the house where our family spends the most time. Even today, the busiest people in this house were the mother and the child.
