The dining space near the kitchen felt empty, so I put down a black and striped rug. It has a soft texture and is well treated with anti-slip PVC, so my feet feel good every time I sit at the table for a meal. I was also worried about the rug under the table...what to do about food contamination. American Floor Modern Times Rug is washable.
