#쇼룸같은우리집 "Let's live as minimally as possible while raising a child" is my motto, but I had no choice but to put a bookshelf in the living room to help my child develop the habit of reading books on his own, and I'm quite satisfied with it :) Is this minimal? I guess... When I wake up in the morning and come out of the room, the only thing I see is a bookshelf, so he takes out a book and reads it on his own. He's still 6 years old, so he can't read all the Korean letters accurately, but he's now able to recognize letters with final consonants and difficult letters like double-di-geut. It's important to know and understand the meaning, so I explain it to him as he goes. Since he was a newborn, my husband and I have been reading a book to him before bed, so he still has that habit.
