A narrow, long kitchen in a 32-pyeong (100-square-foot) two-bay apartment Kitchen remodeling that satisfies design, storage, and flow I wanted to change the layout of a typical two-bay kitchen. I considered a face-to-face layout, but due to various issues like longer pipes, moving the distributor, moving the hood, and the potential narrowing of the balcony door, I decided to keep the existing structure as intact as possible. I designed a layout that maximized usability and a spacious feel. When viewed from the living room, the right wall of the kitchen should be empty to avoid feeling cramped. A kitchen-fit refrigerator was placed on the left wall, and the lack of storage space due to the refrigerator and dishwasher was addressed by installing an open island on either side. I was concerned that the island might look cramped, but it actually helps organize the dining table area. The colors of the dishwasher and refrigerator were matched to the lower cabinets to create a sense of unity. The upper cabinets were accented with a wood tone similar to the flooring, creating a more harmonious atmosphere in the kitchen. The upper cabinets, especially those prone to getting dirty due to smoke, seem to have been alleviated. The traditional, square kitchen layout was transformed with a round table and lighting, adding a touch of curve to the design. The kitchen was once the most stressful space, but now it's become my favorite and most beautiful space. 😍 #RyomiHome #구축아파트 #구축리모델링 #인테리어 #집꾸미기 #리모델링 #주방인테리어
