My old friend, the butterfly orchid… I ended up moving it to a hydroponic plant because it was sick. I don’t know if it will survive, but I’ll keep watching 🌱 I brought a new butterfly orchid because I felt empty in the empty space of that friend. I originally planned to hang it next to the bat orchid, but it’s much bigger than I thought (!), so I think I’ll have to find a different spot… 😅 While raising it, I realized that the butterfly orchid likes water more than I thought! Now, I’m thinking about watering it as soon as the topsoil dries.. If there are any gardeners who are raising butterfly orchid, please share tips on whether to water it when the topsoil dries or when the bottoms are dry.
