#오감리뷰 This is a review after receiving the product through the program and personally using and styling it. Just like the phrase, “A home is not just a place to stay, but a space where memories and emotions reside,” this ‘THE HOUSES’ book edition was a special experience that made me think about the essence of design again. 📘 First impression & physical properties The heavy texture of the hardcover cover was felt at my fingertips, and the cover artwork by three designers, Christian Mohaded, Jaime Hayon, and Patrick Jouin, inspired by ‘Milan Design Week’, was random among the three covers, but no matter which design I encountered, I felt a strong impression and a sense of luxury. 📖 Content & composition The ‘THE HOUSES’ special feature contains abundant text and photos condensed with how various artists, including Do-ho Suh, Ugo La Pietra, and Rachel Whiteread, artistically interpreted the space called home. In particular, the various perspectives such as ‘storage of memory’ and ‘social space’ were combined, so it had a deep resonance that made me feel like I was looking at a philosophy of life rather than just architecture. 🎁 Appendix & Components The ‘Teto Signature Blue Bath Mat’ provided with the book was a practical yet luxurious bath mat, and it was so soft that it definitely seemed to be made of good fabric! ✨ User Experience & Impressions Every time I opened the book, visual beauty and thoughts came to mind at the same time, and the message that a home is more than just a place to live, it becomes ‘your own world and a stage for life’ deeply resonated with me. Each photo and each line of text remained in my mind for a long time, so I plan to enjoy the leisure of opening this book and having a cup of coffee in the future. ⭐️ Recommended for I highly recommend this to people who love design, art lovers who want to think about space, and those who want to think about ‘home’ again! I was satisfied with the content, composition, and even the appendix, and it was a book edition that stayed in my mind for a long time.
