#오감리뷰 This is a review after receiving the product through the program and personally using and styling it. 📘 Elle Deco Korea Book Edition: THE HOUSES There are two reasons why I buy a book. The first is because of the content in the book, and the second is because of the design of the book cover (its function as an object). However, Elle Deco Korea's book edition is a rare book that satisfies both of these conditions. The first reason I noticed Elle Deco Korea Book Edition was because of the cover design. The hard book cover and design in different colors for each issue are very sensual, and the luxuriousness of the hardcover binding made it even more appealing. In particular, the June issue has artwork created by the Louis Vuitton Home Collection designer and the harmony of dark blue makes it feel like it cools down the summer heat, so I want to keep it in a space where it is visible all summer long. The design has a strong presence that makes it a focal point no matter where it is placed, so I tried putting it in various places, but the book caught my eye first. Even if you just put one book on the table, it somehow becomes a sensory space. Looking at the cool blue color makes me want to go on vacation to the beach. After only seeing it in pictures, when I received it in person, the blue cover was not made of the usual paper material but of fabric texture, and it was heavier than I thought, which was even better, and it is a book that makes me want to collect books of different colors. I also liked the theme of this issue, ‘THE HOUSES, A New World Called Home.’ The space called home has a lot of meaning to me, so it was interesting, and it is so enjoyable to be able to comfortably access various new information related to homes that I would not have known if I had not looked for it, in my own home! I think Today’s Home users will definitely like it. When you open the book, it is full of images that make you want to carefully tear off a page and put it in a frame. Even just looking through the table of contents, I am looking forward to seeing the beautiful homes of strangers that I would never have seen in person, and to encounter various contents from this year’s trends to traditions and timeless aesthetics. I think that I need to see and experience a lot of good things to know what is good and what is right for me, and these days, I am also thinking deeply about my home, so I want to take it out whenever I need sensory inspiration. The blue doormat from TETO that I received as a bonus is a vivid blue color like a book cover, so the space looks cooler, and the thick texture feels good on my feet.
