In the warm, humid, and cloudy weather, I had a quiet and leisurely lunch at home. The four-person table is spacious but not too big, so it makes good use of the space, and it is also comfortable to sit across from each other and have a natural conversation. Another great advantage is that it creates a cozy and warm dining atmosphere. For lunch today, I prepared zaru udon that I bought in Japan. I dipped the chewy udon noodles in the cool tsuyu and ate it, and I also had lemon water with lemon floating in it to quench my thirst. The refreshing lemon scent added to the feeling of being refreshed and clean even in the hot weather. This is a season where a cool meal like this is more satisfying than hot food.
