White Desk Interior Emotional Ruin Review of Painting Black Monitor Bezel White! While changing the study room desk to white, I tried the black & white combination desk interior that I wanted. Since I placed the desk based on the entrance of the room, the back of the monitor was the first thing I saw when I entered the room. This arrangement made the space feel more cozy, and helped me concentrate much better… but the problem was the black monitor! The white desk, white monitor arm, and the black monitor on top of it all looked so messy. I wanted to change it to a white monitor, but I didn’t want to replace it because I hadn’t bought the monitor for long. I thought about putting on a film, but I gave up because I thought it would be too difficult. Then, while painting furniture a while ago, I thought, ‘Can’t I just paint the monitor too?’ I searched, but there were almost no cases of painting monitor bezels. What if it fails? I wanted to, but I don't know! I definitely have to get a white monitor! So I decided to take on the challenge. First, I carefully protected the sensitive parts such as the monitor screen and the vents with masking tape, and started painting in earnest. I painted carefully using a small brush and roller, and if you look closely, you can see the brush marks, and there are some spots that are slightly stained, but if you look from far away, they're not noticeable at all. (I don't think anyone noticed while looking at my photos, right? Haha) When I told him I was painting the monitor, my husband, who had said, 'That's really not right, please don't do it,' positively evaluated it, saying that it looked like a texture I made on purpose. Haha Thanks to that, the desk, monitor arm, and monitor all matched in tone, and the space became much more unified. The desk organized in white felt much neater and brighter, and my mood improved every time I worked. I also thought about spray paint at first, but I was worried that it would fly too much indoors and float in the air. It would be burdensome to clean up afterward indoors, and there wasn't a suitable space outdoors, so I ended up choosing brush paint. I thought this might be a tip for those who, like me, were still able to use the monitor itself, but were disappointed with the bezel color.
