That location is not a modern, clean sash, but a wooden sliding door, so there are warped and raised parts, so I was worried that it wouldn't cool the room. So I bought it with the intention of installing it in another room if it didn't work. The warped wooden door frame is tightly blocked, so no heat escapes, and the performance is good, so it cools down quickly when I turn it on when it's hot. The LED isn't too bright and doesn't make much noise, so it's not annoying at all when I sleep. However, light can leak around, so I just block the top part with a square cushion like this. I install it every early summer and disassemble it in the fall. It’s easy to install and doesn’t take up much space when stored after disassembly.
