Living room decorated with a wooden side table #식물존 interior 🪴 This is the plant zone, a space I've been spending a lot of time in lately, unlike before. Haha. The reason is my araucaria is drooping. It looked like it was wilting, so I looked for ways to help it by exposing it to sunlight. I called the owner of the flower shop and am trying to revive it. (Actually, this is the second araucaria I've brought in🥹) Looking back, I think the problem was that I didn't expose it to enough sunlight, and I relied too much on the moisture meter, and watered it too long between waterings. I almost killed it by worrying about overwatering. ㅠㅠ They say that araucaria should be watered thoroughly in spring/summer/fall when the surface is dry to the width of your fingertips. Even on cloudy days like these, I heard that exposing it to sunlight is effective, so I'm diligently trying. I hope it survives! But even though I didn't water the cycads much, they sprouted new shoots all of a sudden?! But they've grown so long and bizarrely, that I wonder if those are even leaves, lol (3rd photo) I highly recommend cycads to beginner gardeners!!! lol (And money trees!) The pot looks too small, but I'm sure it's not just my imagination... I guess I'll have to buy some more supports in a hurry. The cycads grow well even with little care, so I'm not worried, but the Araucaria...
