I live with my dog, so the beginning and end of the day are always with me and my dog Simba. On weekend mornings, I sit in Simba’s favorite spot under the sunlight streaming in through the window and quietly greet the day, and after work, I lie down on the sofa next to him and share each other’s warmth to end the day :) I put a large rug in the space where Simba plays the most so that it doesn’t slip, and I wanted to create a space where water, snacks, and toys can naturally reach, but I also wanted to create a space where the two of us can live together. I don’t know if my feelings were conveyed to Simba, but thanks to this little furball, I have many more smiling days and I feel that the space is warmer. A ‘space that feels like me’ is a place where I and my dog respect each other’s lives and live together.
