I'm doing the 2nd stage of the Whistler Cooking Challenge!! A housewife who can cook any dish at home~🫡 I really like Whistler products,,, and I even bought a fan and a steamer,,,🫶 “Breaking the mold, cooking with my own personality” A 180-degree transformation of galbijjim, and a drop of Remi's magic✨ With my mom's birthday coming up, I wanted to completely change the 'galbijjim' that was always on the birthday table The cooking method, composition, and plating were all 180 degrees different! I made it with my own sense, unfamiliar but familiar And the ending was The moment little chef Remi pours the sauce🐭 ⠀ 👩🍳 This is how I made galbijjim, a 180-degree reinterpretation! • Lightly grilled beef shank + beef ribs (a little minced pork) and with grilled paprika, green onions, and stir-fried onions Add soy sauce, cheongju, red wine, pear puree, celery, chestnuts, jujubes, ginkgo nuts, thyme, bay leaves, whole peppercorns, honey, and ginger and simmer for 3-4 hours • Grilled fregola pasta with a crusty taste on top of the shredded meat, pine nuts + cheese + cream sauce, and sesame leaf oil • Soft cream puree made with chestnuts, jujubes, and artichokes Oh my, this is the first time I've had galbijjim like this!! Seeing my mom enjoy it so much while exclaiming in admiration I was so proud!🥹 I took a bite too...!! Soft, yet heavy, deep flavor and aroma The richness of the crusty pasta fregola adds to the taste, making it a truly new flavor in itself... !!!✨ More than anything, the pine nut cream was a real godsend! In fact, it's no secret that I kept eating it because it was so delicious while I was making it🫢 This 180-degree cooking is also a mission clear! I'll try to be persistent so that up to 3 people can advance to the finals!
