Recycling is necessary, but it was too much of a hassle to have a large container inside the house. That's why I brought in the IKEA Trones. It is famous for its niche shoe cabinets, but in my house, I use it as a recycling bin. I labeled it, and I organized it so that I can hang plastic on the inside with Daiso hooks. Since I put it in the front door, it is easy to go out to throw things away, and most of all, it is neat and doesn't feel like a 'trash can'. I organized the top so that I can take out walking supplies, deodorizers, and car keys all at once. If you have been worried about living in a small house, try using the IKEA Trones as a recycling bin. It takes up less space and the movement is much more efficient!
