It's a minimal kitchen. My principle for keeping my kitchen neat is "don't put anything on the counter." So I keep things to a minimum. These days, the trend is to have dishwashers, so many houses don't have dish drying racks. My house is rented, so I use a dish drying rack instead of a dishwasher. It's hard to get rid of the dish drying rack. There's no space to put a rice cooker, so I put the rice cooker on it. I don't put wet tissues or tissues on the dining table either. I store wet tissues in the drawer of the lower kitchen cabinet and use them when I take them out.
