The reason I can spend the hot summer comfortably in my favorite house is because I put a lot of effort into changing my living room space. Thanks to that, I always enjoy a happy space. Turning on cozy lights and creating an atmosphere was entirely for me. For me, who had nothing, decorating the space gave me new joy and a sense of accomplishment, and that’s how I created the happy living room I have now. I enjoyed the process of creating a good space that inspires me for several months, and that’s how it is now. It’s probably because I didn’t waste my time drinking or playing around. I read someone’s post in a thread yesterday. He bought and invested in various things to do ‘homestagram’, but he seemed curious about when he would see the profit. I can guess that he started decorating his house as a means of making money from the beginning. On the other hand, I also saw a post from a brand representative who asked an influencer with tens of thousands of followers for a sponsored advertisement, but he was angry that the advertising cost of 500,000 won per case was excessive. There was a fight in the comments. It must be because they are feeling wronged due to their own circumstances. Everyone has their own position, so it seems like they are venting their frustrations to each other. You need to use gas to run a car. At the moment, it seems like you are wasting expensive gas, but in the end, we seem to forget that gas is what gets us to our destination. Many people regret the time and investment they have made and feel sorry for wasting gas. Never feel bad about running out of gas. Whether you walk, drive, take a boat, or fly, you need to use gas to get to your destination. If you don't let go of something you are holding in your hand, Wouldn't you be able to gain nothing? Whether you walk to your destination with difficulty, or pay for gas and go to your destination comfortably, I think we have to move and make efforts to gain something. I think many people these days see home decoration as a means of investment. Is it because of the fierce competition in life in Korea? In that fierceness, I am so thankful that I found what I like. And I found joy in life by making things and decorating my house. It was a thankful thing that unfolded in a very dull life. Why am I happy? I thought about it and found the answer. Because I don’t have to compete with anyone to decorate my own space. I can’t help but feel good in a place where my taste is completely reflected without anyone’s interference and where it is filled with my favorite things. 😁 If you use decorating your house not as a means of investment but to make your life better and happier, you will create a much happier and more grateful life. I am fixing up an old house with my own hands and decorating my house within the scope of my ability. When I solve things that I have never done before, I realize, ‘I really changed this with my own hands!’ and gain confidence and a sense of accomplishment! That’s why I am grateful every day.
