(Photo attached at the end) I used to live in the DUKTIG without any storage boxes, but my child found it very inconvenient to get the toys out of it. It also took a long time to organize them. ㅠㅠ (I bought the DUKTIG a year and a half ago, but I finally bought it now😂) I was looking for a storage box that was just the right size. It took me a year and a half. The top two compartments are slightly taller than the bottom, so the IKEA Besto storage box is perfect. Most of the sink space is used for various food and toys, and it's perfect! I even pull out the sink to access the food! Since there are so many different types of food items, I chose the deep Besto storage box. My child plays with the entire basket, so I wanted the basket to be roomy enough to easily put things in and take them out. (It's not too wide!) For a child to play comfortably, space is paramount. You know what I mean? (Mom, help me out, please!) We store tall toys in Besto. The Besto storage box is a felt basket, and unlike other commercially available felt baskets, it doesn't flop around. It's very sturdy, which is a huge plus. The Besto is a bit pricey at 14,900 won, but... I couldn't find a basket that fits the Duktig perfectly, so I bought it with tears in my eyes. ㅠㅠ For the bottom two compartments, I used translucent baskets from Daiso. The translucent design allows the silhouette to be seen, which makes it easy for my child to see what's inside and take it out to play! (The Daiso basket is a great value at 2,000 won.) I found a storage box that fits perfectly under the drawer of the IKEA DUKTIG, and my child has been having so much fun playing with the kitchen that I wish I had stored it like this earlier. 🤍 She loves playing kitchens, so I highly recommend the DUKTIG.
