This is a review based on my own experience using and styling the product provided through the #FiveSensesReview program. My two-person household doesn't have a water purifier, so we've been living that way, believing it's safer(?) to just buy bottled water. Of course, every time I empty a bottle of water, I end up with a ton of empty plastic bottles. I had to buy more to keep them stocked up, just in case I suddenly run out, and I was worried about the various issues with plastic bottles, which I assumed were safe. I'd known about Brita water purifiers before, but I was debating between installing a water purifier and a Brita portable water purifier. Then, through this five-sense review, I stumbled upon Brita's portable water purifier. ᐟ I received the perfect beginner package for me, the Likelli package, which is perfect for a 1-2 person household :) ✓✓ Here's a quick rundown of the specs: - Contents: Brita Likelli 2.2L Blue (including 1 filter) + Maxtra Pro Filter 3 + Brita Hand Towel - Capacity: 1.1L of the 2.2L total filter capacity, making it ideal for a 1-2 person household - Filter: Effective filter volume: 150L / Replace after 1-2 months of use The filters are compatible with all Brita home water purifiers. There are two types of Maxtra Pro filters: the Pure Performance filter, suitable for drinking and cooking water, and the limescale filter, which removes limescale. I drink a lot of tea at home, so I was considering a limescale filter, but I ended up choosing the Pure Performance filter for more everyday use. The only preparation required is pre-wetting the filter when using a new one. It's incredibly convenient because I can simply fill it with tap water and drink it straight from the tap. (They say groundwater or rainwater aren't suitable.) The purification process is relatively quick, so refilling the filter periodically during daily activities is hassle-free. Since I wasn't drinking tap water, it's hard to make a precise comparison of the taste after purification, but I was surprised to notice no disinfectant smell or chemical bitterness at all. It's simple to use.
