Ryu Soo-young's Lifetime Recipe)🫶🏻 📌 Ingredients 1️⃣ Basic Budaejjigae 1 pack of Sari Gomtangmyeon, 1L water, 4T minced garlic, 1 can Spam, 3 frankfurters, 1/8 head cabbage, 1 stalk green onion, 1/2 onion, 2 slices cheddar cheese, 4T generously baked beans, 2T ketchup, 2 handfuls of wheat cakes, pepper 2️⃣ Budaejjigae Seasoning 1T gochujang, 1T generously red pepper powder, 1T soy sauce, 1T anchovy sauce, 1/2T sugar 3️⃣ Rose Budaejjigae 1/2T budaejjigae seasoning, heavy cream 150ml, pepper 📌 Preparation 1. Make the broth by mixing 1L of water and the Sari Gomtangmyeon powder soup in a bottle. (You can also use store-bought Gomtang broth!) 2. Thinly slice the Spam, cut one frankfurter into rounds, and slice the other two into thin, long strips. (Cutting the sausages in different shapes will create a variety of flavors!) 3. Slice the green onions into long strips, the cabbage into bite-sized pieces, and the onion into thick strips. 4. Combine all the ingredients for the "Budaejjigae Seasoning" in a bowl and mix. 📌 Recipe 1. Place Spam, frankfurters, green onions, cabbage, and onions in a stew pot, then top with cheddar cheese, baked beans, Sari Gomtangmyeon (Korean beef bone soup), and wheat cakes. 👏🏻 2. Add 1 tablespoon of the seasoning sauce, 4 tablespoons of minced garlic, and a pinch of pepper. Pour in 700ml of the prepared broth and bring to a boil over medium heat. 👏🏻 (Add the remaining broth and seasoning sauce to your taste while boiling!) 3. Cover and simmer for 5 minutes, then remove the lid, add 2 tablespoons of ketchup, and simmer for a bit longer. 4. Add the ramen noodles and, when the noodles are cooked, your basic budaejjigae is complete. (You can eat this as is and then make it into a rose budaejjigae!) 5. Add 1/2 tablespoon of budaejjigae seasoning sauce and 150ml of heavy cream to the basic budaejjigae, simmer for 3-4 minutes, and sprinkle with pepper. (If you like it spicy, add red pepper flakes, crushed red pepper, etc.! Add cheese, parsley powder, etc. for even more flavor!) Rose has invaded even Budae Jjigae!👀✨ After enjoying the spicy and tangy basic Budae Jjigae, simply add whipped cream for a second round of Rose Budae Jjigae!
