When he started elementary school, I switched to a desk without a top shelf. After the first semester, I switched back to a slightly larger desk. •Size: It's the perfect size for a small first grader, so I think it'll work well for middle schoolers as well. •Design and Color: The beige color, exclusive to Today's House, gives it a warm feel. The shelves and door storage compartments are separate for neat storage. The rounded top is perfect for my child. •Functionality: The built-in outlet makes electronic devices easy to use, and the added lighting with five-level brightness adjustment makes this the perfect child's desk. And with the essential desk companion, a drawer, it offers ample storage for everything from writing utensils to books. •Price: I think the price is excellent for the quality of the desk.
