My old house was a villa measuring about 450 square feet. It's plenty of space for two, but it's a tight squeeze for two maximalists, lol. Plus, there's no storage or built-in closet, so there was no place to store odds and ends like suitcases and fans. 😢. So, I installed two height-adjustable shelves on one side of the bedroom. It was like my own personal pantry in the master bedroom. I adjusted the shelves to store seasonal items and all sorts of other things!!! From a 28-inch suitcase to an unused wall-mounted air conditioner and various tools... I stuffed a ton of stuff in there... I searched the web for a curtain that fit the size and attached it with pushpins😎 Since it's an item I don't use often, covering it with fabric like this is fine. With the curtain down, it looks neat, so it's fine to have it in the master bedroom!! I intentionally bought them to be not too tall, and organized them so they don't look cramped :) If you don't have a storage space at home, try this method!
