That's why it's so uncomfortable without a side table near the sofa. We don't eat much on the sofa, but when we want to have a cup of coffee or a quick bite of fruit, the low, round table is just too uncomfortable! I love how it adjusts to the height of the person sitting on the sofa! Another thing: What do you think of the table size? It's hard to tell from the photo, but it's actually bigger than you'd think.
