#우리집추구미 Everyone wants their own space. And I believe that a space that fosters personal growth, relaxation, and complete immersion and focus especially increases life satisfaction, self-esteem, and self-efficacy. I've created such spaces not in the entire house, but in a corner of the kitchen, a corner of the veranda, a section next to the bookshelf in the study, and a corner of the bathroom shelf. Since I started working, I've decorated large spaces, and created and styled small spaces, but when I decided I needed my own space, I wanted to try things I'd never tried before. Colors that weren't universal, difficult to maintain, too flashy, unfamiliar materials that made me skeptical... I wanted to try those things. (Because I just have to work... ^^;) In my own studio. So, I created a study in matte black, which shows dust easily. I collected fragile glass and transparent objects. I designed the kitchen with a wood countertop, which is difficult to maintain. I brought in a black table to make the space appear smaller. I also brought in cold-looking steel objects and furniture. All of these together became my study and studio. So, the beauty of Jeokgangan is "the unconventional." However, since they're readily available and reasonably priced, it's a style worth trying once in a while. I spend most of my mornings working, sitting down, but since this is a space I created just for myself, I'm gradually refining my studio style, and building my life in my studio, which has always been a signature feature of Jeokgangan, with a study that's never been absent from my life.
