Previously, I used a round 800mm table. Round tables were uncomfortable to work with, and it was difficult to use them against the wall. This Luard Desk is compact at 1000mm, perfect for solo work and dining. The dark wood adds a nice weight to the room. The attached drawer is perfect for storing frequently read books or journals. The straight, carved accents on the corners of the desk are also really pretty. I cut a white placemat about 5cm smaller and used it to create a harmonious blend with the wood. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a simple, personalized space like I did!
